Randy has chaired the Commissioner Board since 2014, leading the community through one of the most difficult seasons in generations. He needs your vote and support to continue to deliver results for St. Mary’s County!

Integrity – Responsible spending of taxpayer dollars for the needs of ALL the people of St. Mary’s County.
Experience – Born and raised in St. Mary’s County. Military and law enforcement experience, small business owner, and over 15 years of experience in local government in various positions. Beginning 8th year as County Commissioner President
Commitment – Dedicated to working towards advancement of local issues and state-wide issues affecting the County. Have gone beyond just being your County Commission President by getting involved in other activities to further the advancement of initiatives that will help the citizens I serve. Examples include:
- Member of Board of Directors for the Maryland Association of Counties (MACO) – Meets quarterly during the year.
- Member of MACO’s Legislative Committee – Meets weekly during General Session to discuss bills affecting St. Mary’s.
- Member of MACO’s Land Use Committee – Meets weekly during General Session to discuss bills affecting St. Mary’s.
- Member of the Veteran’s Regional Area Council

About Randy
Born and raised in St. Mary’s County, he grew up in Ridge and graduated from St. Michael’s High School. After serving 26 years in the Air Force with last duty station at the Pentagon as the Air Force’s Enlisted Air Crew manager, he returned home to become a small business owner and start a career in local politics.
